David & David Hair Salon are based in Plymouth and with plans for growth and a move to a bigger premise on the cards, it the right time for a rebrand.

It’s a big move to a prime location in Plymouth City Centre, so it was time to develop a brand that was representative of the quality service, warm welcome and friendly atmosphere of the salon… Which would now be enhanced with a new interior to match.

I worked with Owner & Senior Stylist Jon to understand what made David & David different to other salons in Plymouth and where it’s current branding was letting it down. A warmer more luxurious colour palette was chosen with a clean word mark, incorporating a custom designed ampersand, as a subtle reference to the salon’s expertise in curly hair.
